A lovely session at Ynyslas. When I first got out there i ws completely alone, without anyone on the beach even, the waves were 2-3 foot and the winds light offshores.... Just perfect, the waves were holding up nicely and peeling well and I had a few really nice rides. The wind then swung around to light N-NW's, and the swell picked up a little. The waves were still OK, but not quite as nice as they had been.

By now there were a few other people out surfing further down the beach and then I was joined by Harvey and John. We all had a good session and drifted quite a way down towards the estuary. After a while we walked back up the beach and decided to have another go. I was quite tired by now and after about 10 mintues of frantic paddling and painful ice-cream headaches decided I wasn't getting anywhere so gave up. Harvey had already thought better of it as well, but John kept going and did manage to get out the back again. Although apparently he only caught 1 or 2 waves before getting stuck on the inside again and struggled to get back out.
